Mesita Ranch
This beautiful Northeast New Mexico ranch is located between Santa Rosa and Tucumcari nine miles north of Cuervo. Access is via a county maintained road.

A long lush memory is embedded in the windswept plains, on the mesa tops and in the secluded mountain canyons of northeast New Mexico. Mesita Ranch brings all this to your doorstep. Recreational opportunities abound in Northeast New Mexico, from winter skiing, snowboarding and ice fishing to summer golfing, biking, hiking, swimming, windsurfing, boating -- and even scuba diving! Northeast New Mexico is a hunting and fishing paradise, with miles and miles of wilderness to explore. And for every recreational taste, the terrain can vary from rolling plains and deep river canyons to lush river beds and flat-topped mesas.

Santa Rosa is the county seat of Guadalupe County and boasts the following attractions:
Route 66, the road made so famous over the years in popular culture, was hailed as the road to freedom. Blue Hole, an 81-foot deep natural artesian spring in Santa Rosa, is a favorite location for scuba divers. It's 4,600 feet above sea level, making the bottom an equivalent of nearly 100 feet of depth in the ocean. The town of Santa Rosa has 15 separate lakes and streams. El Llano Estacado is an extremely large mesa covering about 32,000 square miles and extending into West Texas. The great plateau of Llano Estacado or "staked plains" encompasses much of Guadalupe and Quay counties. Some people say Park Lake in Santa Rosa has the largest free swimming pool in the world.
